Over the course of the past weekend the Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 221 calls for service. Calls included the following:
7 – 911 Hang-ups
13 – Alarms
13 – Ambulance Assists
5 – Assaults
10 – Disturb the Peace
14 –Domestic Disputes
5 – Family Disputes
6 – Motor Vehicle Collisions
7 – Noise Complaints
18 – Person Welfare / Well-Being
4 – Thefts
14 – Traffic Complaints
6 – Trespass to Property
13 – Unwanted Persons
Road officers conducted approximately 32 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 25 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
