Update – Fire at Trillium Park

On July 7^th, 2020, shortly after 3am, Sarnia Fire and Rescue responded to a 7^th floor apartment fire in the 800 block of Trillium Park where a 65 year old female was rushed to hospital and later pronounced deceased.

As a result of this investigation, it was determined this was a non-suspicious fire from an accidental cause. The cause of death was also deemed non-suspicious as the victim died as a result of smoke inhalation.

At the request of family, the victim’s identity will not be released.
