At approximately 11:54 AM, Sarnia Police responded to an address in the 1900 block of Franklin Ave, in Brights Grove. Officers arrived on scene to find that a 49-year-old male had been shot. The victim was immediately transported to hospital where he remains.
At this time members of the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the matter and are attempting to determine information regarding the male suspect.
This is not believed to be a random act and there is no reason to believe that the public’s safety is an issue.
Police remain on scene as detectives and Forensic officers continue their investigation.
