Motorists in the city are being told to avoid Confederation Street between Christina and John Streets as a splash pad has unexpectedly emerged.
Typically a winter occurrence that results in temporary skating rinks, a water main has ruptured at Confed and Vidal/Brock flooding the roadway.
City crews are working on repairing the pipe, and despite the attraction of racing popsicle sticks through the gutters, please avoid the area.
Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, this splash pad will also be closed to the public.
