On May 21st, 2020, shortly after 5pm, the Sarnia Police Service VICE Unit executed a search warrant in the 100 block of East Street North under The Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Just prior to executing this warrant, a vehicle observed by VICE officers leaving this location was also stopped and searched. As a result of this investigation, police seized a total of 143.52 grams of Fentanyl with a street value of $71,760.00 and officers also seized $20,090.00 in cash.
The following individuals were arrested and charged in this case:
24 year old Dallas Alexander Smith of Sarnia was charged with 2 counts of Breach of Probation in addition to Possession of a Controlled Substance – Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking.
26 year old Deanis John Smith of Petrolia was charged with 5 counts of Breach of Probation in addition to Possession of a Controlled Substance – Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking.
33 year old Brandon Matthew Waters of Sarnia was charged with 3 counts of Breach of Probation in addition to Possession of a Controlled Substance – Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking.
60 year old Tamara Lee Schnarr of Sarnia was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking.
All 4 individuals were held for bail and remain in custody.
