Over the course of the weekend the Sarnia Police Service responded to 169 calls for service. Calls included the following:
6 – Alarms
5 – Ambulance Assist
5 – Disturb the Peace
11 – Domestic Disputes
5 – Family Disputes
8 – Noise Complaints
15 – Person Well-Being / Welfare Checks
4 – Thefts
7 – Traffic Complaints
6 – Trespass to Property
16 – Unwanted Persons
9 – Calls related to possible breaches of various COVID regulations, (no charges laid)
Road officers conducted approximately 38 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 23 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
