Over the course of the weekend the Sarnia Police Service responded to 191 calls for service. Calls included the following:
15 – Alarms
8 – Ambulance Assists
10 – Disturb the Peace
9 – Domestic Disputes
5 – Family Disputes
13 – Noise Complaints
17 – COVID Related Concerns
20 – Person Welfare / Well-Being Checks
4 – Thefts
8 – Traffic Complaints
7 – Trespass to Property
10 – Unwanted Persons
Road officers conducted approximately 21 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 6 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences, none of which were related to breaches in relation to COVID.
