On Saturday, April 4, 2020, at approximately 1:40 PM, Sarnia Police officers, along with Sarnia Fire and Lambton Paramedics, responded to a collision at the intersection of Plank Road and Kimball Side Road. The collision involved a truck and a motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle sustained significant injuries and was ultimately transported by ambulance to the Chris Hadfield Airport where he was transported by air ambulance to a London Hospital for treatment.
A Sarnia Police Service Collision Reconstructionist attended the scene along with members of the Identification and Criminal Investigation Branch to assist in the investigation. The scene remained closed for several hours.
The 36-year-old driver of the motorcycle remains in hospital in serious condition.
