At approximately 11:58 PM, on March 13, 2020, Sarnia Police were dispatched regarding a female in medical distress in the 100 block of North Palmerston Street. Officers arrived on scene at approximately 12:01 AM, on March 14, 2020, to find a 29-year-old female that was immediately transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.
The 29-year-old female was later pronounced dead at the hospital from the injuries she had sustained. The death has been deemed to be a suspected homicide.
Police are currently waiting to notify next of kin before the victim is identified.
Currently the intersection of North Palmerston Street and Cobden Street is closed to all traffic as officers continue to investigate the matter. You are please asked to avoid the area.
