On January 22, 2020, at approximately 6:10 AM, the Sarnia Police Service responded to a collision involving a motor vehicle travelling northbound on Murphy Road that struck a 63-year-old female pedestrian to the north of the London Road intersection.
Due to the injuries sustained, the 63-year-old female passed away in a London Hospital on January 23, 2020.
The members of the Sarnia Police Service Traffic Unit along with detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division have since continued their investigation into the collision and have recently made a determination.
After speaking with witness, along with the analysis of the collision scene, officers have determined that no charges shall be laid in this matter.
We would like to thank everyone involved for their assistance and patience as the investigation was on going.
