Staff Sgt. Leo Murphy shows off his hidden talent of making pottery in the photo below. Today, February 12, 2020, Staff Sgt. Murphy took part in the “Celebrity Bowl-Making Bowls” which was held at the Ceramics Lab at Lambton College.
The pottery that was made today by Staff Sgt. Murphy and other members of our community will be auctioned off on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at the Lambton College Event Centre. It will be part of the annual “Empty Bowls” fundraiser where Chefs prepare soups and guests purchase tickets to attend and try some of the delicious soups.
All proceeds raised at the event will go towards the food banks at Lambton College and the Inn of the Good Shepherd, which are both very good causes.
