Sarnia Police along with other emergency services attended the intersection of Harkness and Talfourd Streets in Sarnia after two vehicles collided late yesterday afternoon, around 4 PM. A Jeep Cherokee ended up on its roof after the collision. The second vehicle involved was a Sarnia taxi. Two people were in each vehicle and all escaped serious injury. The passenger in the cab was transported to hospital as a precaution. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
The Jeep was northbound on Harkness Street when it collided with the eastbound cab. The Jeep was being operated by a 17 year old Sarnia youth and he was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for Failing to Stop. The intersection was closed while the scene was cleared.
