On December 6, 2019, at approximately 11:15 AM, a member of the Sarnia Police Service Traffic Unit conducted a traffic stop of a motor vehicle with three occupants. The driver of the motor vehicle was determined to be a disqualified driver and was placed in custody. Upon a search of the suspect the officer located a quantity of what is believed to be Fentanyl and over $1300 in cash.
As the officer continued the investigation the passengers (a male and female) were also found to be in possession of paraphernalia such as syringes and a pipe with small amounts of methamphetamine still present. Both suspects were placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance.
All three accused were transported back to the station where a further search located a larger quantity of fentanyl.
All three parties were lodged and held for a bail hearing.
A total 3.69 grams of suspected Fentanyl, with a street value of $1845, was seized. The vehicle was impounded for 45 days due to the fact that driver was a disqualified driver.
The following people face the following charges:
- Richard William Emery (driver), 38 years of age, of Windsor, faces one count of possession of a controlled substance, one count of trafficking a controlled substance, two counts of failing to comply with recognizance, and one count of operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited to drive.
- Justin John Parslow, 24 years of age, of Stratford, faces one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of trafficking a controlled substance.

Tara Renee Galenzosky, 46 years of age, of Godrich, faces one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of trafficking a controlled substance.
