On October 26, 2019, at approximately 1:35 am officers were dispatched to the Mitton Street Pharmacy regarding a possible break and enter in progress. Information received from a witness was that someone was attempting to pry the back door open.
When officers arrived they found the back door damaged and ajar. Once the officers entered the building they located a single suspect attempting to pry open a metal door into the pharmacy with a crow bar.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
The accused, Dominick James Campbell, 19 years of age, of Sarnia, faces the following charges:
- Break and Enter
- Mischief under $5000
- Disguise with intent
- Possession of break and enter instruments
- Failing to comply with recognizance.
Campbell was held for a bail hearing.
