The Sarnia Police Service is reminding the community to not give your personal or banking information to anyone that calls or emails you.
Government Agencies such as RCMP and Federal Tax Agencies will never ask for your Banking Information.
Regardless how legitimate the caller comes across, do not give out your information. Call us if you are uncertain before giving any information. They use such tactics as claiming there are warrants for your arrest and other threats to trick you into providing personal information.
