On Saturday October 5, 2019, shortly after 4 PM, the Sarnia Police Service and Lambton EMS responded to the 1100 Block of Parkland Place, Sarnia, regarding a male in need of medical assistance. Shortly after arriving on scene, police entered into a criminal investigation.
The victim, a male, 37 years of age, from Sarnia, was transported to Bluewater Health for treatment of serious injuries. He remains in hospital in stable condition.
Kevin Fareed Bacchus, 48 years of age, of Sarnia, has been charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. Bacchus will appear in court this morning for a bail hearing.
