Cache of Goods, 32 Year Old Woman Arrested

Sarnia Police arrested a 32 year old Sarnia woman on Saturday night around 10:15 AM in the Confederation and Vanier Roads area. She was on a bicycle and had pulled into an empty lot behind some buildings in the area. The officer located her and she had a back pack and a large black purse. It was discovered the woman was on probation for theft crimes as well as being on an Undertaking for similar offences. She could not explain what she was doing behind the building.

The bags were checked and they contained bolt cutters, pliers, a flashlight and three brand new, unopened bottles of liquor. She was arrested for Possession of Break and Enter Tools and Breach of Probation. The back pack and purse was searched further and men’s watches, women’s jewelry and credit cards in other people’s names were also found. She was taken to police headquarters to await a bail hearing on charges of Possession of Break and Enter Tools and Breach of Probation. The investigation is on- going.
