The Sarnia Police Service would like to make the public and specifically businesses aware that counterfeit American $100 bills are circulating. Individuals will attend local businesses and purchase something with the expectation of getting authentic money in return.
The serial number on the $100 American bill is #LB45440078L. This serial number has also been used in a number of other cities in Canada.
