The Sarnia Police Service has received numerous complaints regarding ongoing issues at The Cove Beach which is located at the west end of Canatara Park. These range from trespassing and noise complaints, to public intoxication and drug use.
A targeted enforcement response was conducted yesterday resulting in a dozen Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) being issued. The majority of the charges laid fell under The Liquor Licence Act.
The Sarnia Police Service will continue respond to complaints received at The Cove and will also continue to show a heavy presence in this area.
