Wishing to Speak to Driver Involved In Collision on Finch Drive With Bicycle

On May 16, 2019, at approximately 7:00 pm, two young females, 16 and 20 years of age, were cycling southbound along the sidewalk on Finch Drive. Once they came to Fanshawe Drive the 16 year old crossed at the same time a vehicle made a left had turn off of Finch Drive and struck the young girl knocking her off her bicycle.

The male driver stopped his car and rendered assistance to the young girl. The male was described as being in his forties, six feet tall, medium build, full beard which was grey in colour, salt and pepper hair, wearing a golf shirt, shorts, and running shoes. At the time the young girl advised that there were no injuries and that she would be fine. At that point the man left the area ending there interaction and the young girls rode away.

The next day the young girl woke up sore and ended up requiring medical attention. At this time the Sarnia Police Service is looking to speak to the driver of the vehicle or to any witnesses that may have observed what happened.
