Sarnia Police Service Investigating Home Invasion

On May 22, 2019, at approximately 1:00 pm, three individuals, wearing masks, attended a residence on Napier Street in the City of Sarnia.

They made their way into the residence and assaulted the 19 year old male victim. The thieves robbed the victim of cash, a cellphone, and alcohol and then fled the scene in a vehicle.

Once police attended and began their investigation they subsequently located the vehicle, in the 800 block of Devine Street, with a mask matching the description of the masks used in the crime. The mask was sitting in plain view in the vehicle.

Two males, young offenders (under the age of 18 years), have since been arrested and are in custody regarding the robbery.

One faces charges for robbery, wearing a disguise with intent, break and enter, and failing to comply with sentence. The second young person faces charges for disobeying a court order, robbery, and unlawfully in a dwelling house.

Members of the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch continue to investigate the crime and are looking to identify two other suspects that were involved.
