On Thursday, May 2, 2019, members of the Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit entered into an investigation involving a male that was dealing cocaine within the City of Sarnia.
The Vice Unit officers, through their investigation, were able to form reasonable grounds to conduct a traffic stop of the suspect at approximately 1:50 pm with the assistance of general patrol officers.
The accused was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was immediately taken into custody without incident.
The accused was searched and officers located 14.75 grams of powdered cocaine on his person. The street value of the cocaine is approximately $1450.
Michael Earl Green, 41 years of age, of Sarnia was held for a bail hearing and faces one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
