The Sarnia Primary Control Group has had ongoing contact with Imperial Oil officials regarding the collapse of the tower last evening.
There is still no offsite emergency impact and Imperial Oil continues to monitor the situation and assess the damage on site.
Again, as a precautionary measure, Vidal Street South is closed between Clifford St to the north and Kenny Street to the south. Local traffic can access the area up to these road blocks but it is suggested that motorists avoid the area to avoid any delays while travelling back and forth along the river.
As soon as updates are available we will forward them to the public.
