On Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10am, the Sarnia Police Service was dispatched regarding a complaint of a male attempting to enter the vehicle of a female driver. According to the complaint the incident occurred at the intersection of Wiltshire and Murphy Road.
The complainant’s vehicle was stopped at the red light when a male party attempted to open the passenger side door of her vehicle. The complainant’s vehicle is described as a red Chevy Cruze.
The male who attempted to open the door to the vehicle is described as being between 20 and 30 years of age, white complexion, wearing a navy hoody and other dark clothing.
The complainant immediately left the area upon this occurring heading south on Murphy Road. The complainant did advise police that she believes that there would have been witnesses to the matter who observed what had happened.
