An 82 year old female from Sarnia has been charged with Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm.
On October 1st, 2018 at approximately 8:30am, a 25 year old mother and her 4 year old daughter, both from Sarnia, were crossing Exmouth Street at the signaled pedestrian crosswalk near Trillium Park when a westbound vehicle failed stop at the crosswalk. This vehicle struck both pedestrians causing significant injuries to the young girl. The four year old was transported to London with serious injuries where she remains in stable condition. The mother was transported to hospital where she was treated and released with minor injuries.
As a result of this investigation, Anne Thompson has been charged with two counts of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm.
