On August 19, 2018, at approximately 12:20 am, members of the Sarnia Police Service General Patrol responded to an address on Cherry Drive regarding a male party with a flashlight going through a motor vehicle in the complaint’s driveway. Upon arrival, the officers noted that the suspect had moved to another vehicle where he was arrested without incident for theft under $5000.00.
Once the male was arrested, the suspect was searched and officers located over 200 grams of marijuana on his person with an approximate street value of just over $2000.00.
The 15 year old minor, who will not be identified due to his age under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was also charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
