On August 2nd, 2018 at approximately 9:15pm, a 17 year old male driver was involved in a serious single motor vehicle collision in the area of Confederation Line and Waterworks Side Road. The driver, who was the lone occupant in the vehicle, was airlifted to London with life threatening injuries.
On August 11th, 2018 the 17 year old male died in hospital as a result of the injuries sustained in the collision.
