On May 22, 2018, at approximately 3:00 am, 2 females a male forced their way into a residence in the 300 block of Wellington Road in the City of Sarnia. The 27 year old male victim knew one of the female suspects. The victim attempted to remove the three suspects from the residence but was over powered by the male who was also in possession of a knife.
After being assaulted, the victim was able to escape from the residence, running out to seek help. The suspects left the residence while the victim was getting help. After returning to his home and looking into what was taken it was determined that a small safe was taken containing money, jewelry, and personal documents.
The victim did receive some minor injuries during the altercation and attended the hospital to be treated but never admitted. This incident appears to be a targeted event against the victim.
Stephanie Crystal Robar, 34 years of age, of Sarnia, and known to the victim, was arrested on May 23, 2018, by a member of the Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit while in the area of Essex Street and Mitton Street at approximately 1:00 pm.
She has been held in custody and awaiting a bail hearing. She is facing the following Charges:
- Robbery
- Break & Enter
The male suspect that was involved was identified as Lee Cory Martin, 54 years of age, from Sarnia but of no fixed address. Martin is wanted for:
- Robbery
- Break and enter
- Possession of weapon
- Aggravated assault
- Bodily harm – overcoming resistance to commission of an offence by choking
