On May 5, 2018, at approximately 3:30 am the Sarnia Police Service was contacted by the supervisor of a company advising that their security surveillance system was activated and that there were individuals in their compound located in the 800 block of Confederation Street.
On duty members of general patrol immediately setup containment around the fenced compound and were also assisted by the local Ontario Provincial Police Canine Unit. One of the suspects was located by the officers within the compound while the other involved suspect was located after a dog track, with the OPP dog and the handling officer, a short time later.
Both parties were taken into custody without further incident.
A 27 year old female by the name of Taylor Judson-Moore, of Sarnia, faces the following charges:
- Break and Enter
- Possession of break and enter instruments
- Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
- Possession of a controlled substance (opioid)
- Two breaches of probation
Also charged was a David Jason Petrany, 47 years of age, of Sarnia. He faces the following charges:
- Break and Enter
- Possession of break and enter instruments
- Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
- Possession of a controlled substance (opioid)
- Breach of probation
Judson-Moore has since been released awaiting her court date while Petrany remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
