On October 10, 2017 at approximately 2:15 pm, the Sarnia Police Service received information that a Dustin Robinson, 34 years of age, was seen in the downtown core of the City of Sarnia. Robinson was currently wanted on an outstanding Canada wide warrant for three counts of robbery, 5 counts of disguise with intent to commit, fail to attend court, and failing to comply with conditions.
Secondary to a further investigation officers from General Patrol along with members of the COPPS Unit were able to locate Robinson at a residence in the City of Sarnia. He was taken into custody without incident at approximately 3:30 pm.
He was then transported to the OPP Detachment in Petrolia to continue the arrest.
Fortunately this matter ended in a peaceful resolution and thanks to all who may have assisted in this arrest.
