Broadcast time: 8:55 am

Date: June 12, 2017

Since June 5, 2017 employees from the Ministry of Transportation have been attempting to remove offensive graffiti from under the overpass for Highway 402 located behind the Home Depot on Quinn Drive. The sound barrier has also been vandalized in the same manner.

Employees from the Ministry of Transportation have attempted several times to paint these areas but only to notice that within several days the damage has returned. This has become a very frustrating and expensive situation to deal with. The Sarnia Police Service is reaching out for the public’s assistance.

If anyone has any information regarding who may be behind these senseless acts, they are please asked to contact the Sarnia police at 519-344-8861, extension 0, or Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
