Thanks to the act of a good Samaritan someone may be reunited with money they lost.
On May 22, 2017, at approximately 6:00 pm, a local citizen was walking their dog on Finch Street when they located an envelope with a quantity of cash in it along with a receipt. The person who found this money then turned it into the Sarnia Police to see if the true owner of the money could be located.
The Sarnia Police Service is releasing this information to the public in hope that the owner of the money can have it returned to them. What is required is that the individual be able to describe the envelope that the money is in, the amount of cash, and describe the receipt that was also found within the envelope.
If you can do this, please contact Constable Robert Sparling at 519-344-8861 (extension 6180).
