On Sunday, May 7, 2017, at approximately 6:40 pm, the Sarnia Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Bright Street and Palmerston Street in the City of Sarnia.
Along with Police both Sarnia Fire and Lambton Paramedics also attended the scene due to the fact that information indicated someone may have been injured.
It was determined that the driver of the e-bike had left the scene prior to the arrival of Emergency Services. A search of the area turned up negative results. The e-bike was left behind and had sustained significant damage. The driver of the motor vehicle involved in the collision was still present on scene and not injured.
The driver of the e-bike is described as being male, white, five foot nine inches tall, thin build, curly brown hair and in his 40’s. He was wearing an army green coat with a fur collar, blue jeans and bright blue shoes. It is believed that the e-bike driver may have sustained minor injuries to his foot or leg as it was observed to be bleeding after the collision.
The Sarnia Police wish to ensure the wellbeing of the unknown male. If anyone has any information regarding who the driver of the e-bike was or any other information regarding this collision they are please asked to contact Constable Alex Ross at 519-344-8861 (extension 6210).
