Yesterday morning, December 14, 2016, at approximately 8:50 am, the Sarnia Police Service was dispatched to the intersection of Ontario Street and Talfourd Street regarding a collision involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle.
At this time the Sarnia Police Service would like to confirm that the actual age of the crossing guard that was struck is actually 76 years of age and not 74 years of age as reported earlier. He remains in hospital at this time with no change in condition.
The vehicle that struck the crossing was driven by a 24 year old male who did not sustain any injuries.
