Weekend Drug Busts

On Friday, April 26, 2013, just before 9 PM, Sarnia Police COPPS Branch officers spotted a truck northbound on Walnut Street without the headlights on.  The truck was stopped.  The 22 year old Sarnia driver was found to be under suspension.  He was arrested.  He was given a Summon to appear in court on June 14, 2013.

During the arrest, the man was searched.  Oxycodone was found in his pocket.  The man was on probation.  He faces charges of Possession of Oxycodone and 5 counts of Breach of Probation.  He was held for bail.

On April 27, around 2 AM, the same officer stopped a car on Cameron Street near Mitton Street.  There were two occupants.  Investigation revealed the two were in possession of methamphetamine.  Almost 20 grams of methamphetamine was seized.  The man was on probation.  This 28 year old Sarnia man faces charges of Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Breach of Probation and Breach of Undertaking.  He was held for bail.

The 20 year old female, also from Sarnia, was held for bail on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking.
