A 15 year old male was arrested last night for Trespassing by Night and Possession of Stolen Property. Warrants have been requested for two other young offenders known to police.
On October 28th, 2016 at approximately 1:45am, Sarnia Police responded to the area of Ron Bolt Drive and Ronald Bloor Drive after a resident observed three young males going through cars and entering garages in the neighbourhood.
Upon arrival, the responding officer observed three young men matching the description provided. At this time, all three suspects ran up the side of a residence and into the backyard of a home in the 200 block of Ron Bolt Drive. The officer gave chase and apprehended one male. The officer was also able to identify the other two suspects, that being another 15 year male and a 14 year old male, and has requested warrants for their arrest.
Residents in this subdivision are being asked to carefully check their property including their cars, sheds and garages for anything missing or discarded. Some items have been recovered in this case. Please contact the Sarnia Police Service at 519-344-8861 if you have any stolen property so that a report can be taken and proper follow up will be conducted.
The identity of the three males cannot be disclosed in this matter because of their ages.
