On May 25, 2016, at 9:02 pm, officers from the Sarnia Police Service were dispatched to the area of Exmouth Street and Capel Street in the City Of Sarnia regarding a motor vehicle collision involving a Toyota Rav 4. The collision involved the one vehicle and a mature tree.
At the scene an officer formed grounds to arrest the 51 year old female for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
She was subsequently transported to the Sarnia Police Headquarters where a qualified breath technician conducted the Intoxilyzer tests on the female. The accused, who is from Sarnia, blew twice the legal limit on both tests that were conducted.
She was held till sober and released on a promise appear for a later court date.
