On March 13, 2013, 2016 at approximately 3:30 pm a member of the Sarnia Police Service General Patrol Unit conducted a routine traffic in the area of Wellington Street in the City of Sarnia. During the stop the officer was able to determine that the driver had a suspended license. A 29 year old man was subsequently arrested for driving while suspended.
The man was then searched by the officer at which time a bag containing a number of suspected hydromorphone (Dilaudid) pills was located. He was then subsequently also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
The 29 year old man was then released on an Appearance Notice for the possession of a controlled substance and a Part 3 Summons for driving while suspended under the Highway Traffic Act.
