Recovery of Heavy Equipment Leads to Arrests

Sometime between December 23, 2015 and December 30, 2015 two Toro Dingo skid steers were stolen from a property located on James Maitland Court in Brights Grove. The value of both items was over $60,000. Since then members of the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Division have located one of the skid steers. It had been sold to a business in Strathroy and secondary to a further investigation 2 suspects were arrested in relation to this matter on March 9, 2016.

One being a young offender, whose name cannot be released and the other person was a Zackary Fiddick (19 years of age) from Enniskillen, Ontario. Fiddick was held for a bail hearing on March 10, 2016 and is facing 2 counts of Theft Over $5000, 2 counts of Fraud Over $5000 along with other charges.

As the investigation into Zackary Fiddick continues the Sarnia Police Service is asking for the public’s help. If anyone has any information relating to this or any other stolen equipment that may have been purchased from Zackary Fiddick they are asked to contact Detective Constable M.
