On Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at approximately 4:50pm, a pharmacy located in the south end of Sarnia was robbed at gun point of a quantity of various opiate drugs (Fentanyl patches, Oxycodone, Morphine and Demerol). The suspect, Clark MacPherson (26 years old), was arrested early the next morning by London Police in the City of London Ontario, driving the same vehicle he had left the scene of the crime in.
February 24, 2016, members of the Sarnia Police Criminal Investigation Division, Vice Unit and Identification Unit executed a Search Warrant on the vehicle to recover any further evidence related to the crime. Officers were able to recover a large quantity of the drugs stolen in the robbery along with other evidence.
Macpherson remains in custody awaiting further court proceedings.
