In a joint investigation by the Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) of both the OPP and the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch a suspect was identified accessing child pornography on the internet. This investigation began in October of 2015.
It had been determined that the user was from the City of Sarnia and was making the videos available to other users on the internet.
On February 5, 2016, at 3:35pm the accused, a 68 year old male, was charged with Possession of Child Pornography and for Making Available Child Pornography. His first appearance in court will be on March 15, 2016
