The Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch has charged a 69 year old Sarnia man for possession of child pornography.
The criminal investigation commenced in September of 2015 and continued until mid-December when detectives executed a search warrant at the home of the accused. This warrant was as a result of an on-line investigation into child pornography as part of the Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation On The Internet.
The accused, William Daniel SCOTT, was arrested on December 22, 2015 and faces charges of making available child pornography and possession of child pornography.
Sarnia Police Service will continue to investigate any and all instances of Child Exploitation and thank the public for their assistance in these matters.
