On Friday, December 4, 2015 a Sarnia Police officer on patrol stopped a 27 year old man driving a vehicle on Wellington Street. The man was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the police station to provide breath samples. Breath samples indicated he was one and a half times the legal limit.
Christopher DUNN of Sarnia is charged with impaired driving, driving while over the legal limit and driving with no licence.
On Saturday, December 5, 2015 the Sarnia Police, Sarnia Fire and Rescue along with Lambton EMS responded to a vehicle collision on Finch Avenue near Madison D’Andrea Drive. A 22 year old Sarnia woman had been operating a vehicle south bound on Finch Ave when she collided with the rear end of another south bound vehicle. The vehicle she was in then left the road and struck a tree. The investigating officer arrested the woman for impaired driving and she was taken to the police station to obtain breath samples. Those breath samples indicated she was over one and a half times the legal limit. No one in the collision required transportation to the hospital.
