Efforts are ongoing to assist the residents of the Kenwick Apartments who were evacuated after a Sunday morning fire that left the building temporarily unsafe to occupy. The Sarnia Emergency Primary Control Group continues to meet on a regular basis to ensure that their needs are being met.
At the time of the fire sixteen people were transported to hospital, currently two residents have been admitted to Bluewater Health.
The Reception Centre is still open at Lambton College. Residents that are in need of accommodation are asked to make their way to Lambton College to be registered as we continue to make arrangements for further accommodations.
