The Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit made a substantial drug seizure last week.
On Thursday November 5, 2015 just around 6:00 p.m. the Vice Unit stopped a vehicle being driven by a lone 28 year old Sarnia woman on Stuart Street near Confederation Street. During their investigation officers located 27 Fentanyl patches, just over 100 Oxycodone pills, several Hydromorh-contin pills and small amounts of cocaine, methamphetamine and marihuana. The total street value of these drugs is estimated to be just over $21,500.00.
On Friday November 6, 2015 Vice officers obtained a search warrant related to this case and entered an apartment located in the 200 block of London Road. Police located a small amount of marihuana and Fentanyl in the apartment during the search. The apartment was occupied by a 30 year old Sarnia man who was arrested and charged.
Patricia Leanne CARR is charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Chet Robert DAYE is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
