The Sarnia Police Criminal Investigations Branch is investigating a weekend robbery.
On Sunday, November 8, 2015 just before 6:30 p.m., a lone male armed with a handgun entered the Subway Restaurant in the 1000 block of Confederation Street and demanded the money from the cash register. The four employees ran to a back room and took shelter until police arrived.
The male suspect is described as being 5’2″ to 5’6″ in height, heavy set, wearing dark shoes, black track pants with two thin white stripes on the legs, grey Aeropostle hoodie with white lettering, a dark coloured vest and a camouflage face mask. The man was armed with a silver handgun and fled on foot in a westerly direction.
