On Friday October 16, 2015 just after 9:00 pm Sarnia Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Indian Road.
The 41 year old accused female was travelling south on Indian Road and collided with a parked pickup truck near Errol Road. The officer on scene requested a roadside breath sample and the accused registered a fail on the roadside screening device. She was transported to the Sarnia Police Station in order to obtain further breath samples. These test indicated that the accused was twice the legal limit to drive.
Laura Smith has been charged with driving with over the legal limit.
